Peter Schipperheyn is an excellent sculptor working mainly in marble but also bronze. Predominately a figurative sculptor his works can me of both domestic or monumental in scale.

His work in our collection is a maquette for the larger work which was commissioned by Dame Elizabeth Murdoch for McClelland Sculpture Park in Victoria. Our small work of 90cm height is drafted by the larger work of over 4m.
